Intro Post! I'm a IT Tech by day, living on beautiful Vancouver Island. No programming these days outside of hobby projects, where #Elixir is my language of choice. Beyond that I'm desperately trying to make enough time in my life for #sourdough baking, #3dprinting, #mtg and tabletop RPGs.
Two recent loaves. Still need to practice my scoring technique, the crumb was a touch more open than I like, but really happy with the overall bake.

This was a 20% whole wheat rosemary loaf at 65% hydration. My starter is pretty mature at this point and does a fantastic job.

3D Printing is a fantastic addition to building PCs. Not only can I design & print a custom GPU stand to hold up this absolute monster, it's also easy to keep things clean in the back with custom cable clips & guides.

Been trying to figure out what I want to put on this profile since making it a few weeks back. Not sure how to feel about the fact that the first thing on my profile is reposting someone perfectly summarizing my position on learning that a defining author in my life is even more evil than I thought.

Right, you know that thing where you like his work, but heard he has some accusations, and you kind of knew there was some drama with his ex, and you didn't really know what the truth was but you had a feeling there was something, but if you ignored it it wouldn't be real?

Time to stop doing that.
I knew this piece about Neil Gaiman was in the works, and still, I felt sick reading it.
