I agree w/ @StephenGethins... cancel Trumps state visit. And we, and all Europe, should distance ourselves from a steadily far-right USA. Reducing imports to hit them where it hurts, reduce diplomatic ties for valued alliances. One who attempts to bully & insult us is no ally at all.

A state visit doesn't just mean that Trump comes to the UK for talks or whatever.
It means a literal parade in his honour.

As valued as the #BBC may be, the concept of a requirement for a #TVLicence is a ridiculously outdated concept not fit for purpose today in 2025 or beyond. Alternatives must be found to fund the BBC etc - including #NationalLottery funding in trade for broadcasting the draws etc.
