A beautiful early morning walk through the local barley fields. Haberdashers' Adams Grammar School sits on the boundary. What a glorious day to be alive. Happy Sunday, friends!

As ‘MechaHitler’ is trending, it's worth remembering that Victor Frankenstein was the real monster, not his creation.

Calling all #ButeNoir veterans. It’s looking like my good lady and I will be attending this year’s event. I’ve booked accommodation, but need to sort tickets 🤞. Any tips for a successful trip would be appreciated. @heatherjfitt.bsky.social, @scarletrix.bsky.social

Hey, #BookSky. I've read this, and I know Louise is going to love it. The Good Father by @liammcilvanney.bsky.social is one of the most authentic and deeply affecting psychological thrillers I've ever read. I don't mind admitting that it made me cry. Don't miss this one. It's out on July 3rd.
Oh, that's a fantastic piece of #BookPost - thanks @liammcilvanney.bsky.social @zaffrebooks.bsky.social ! Very much looking forward to sharing my thoughts about this.

Good food + Good folk + The Good Father = Good times. I‘ve read the book - it’s exceptional and if the well-fired rolls are on par with the book, we’re all in for a good evening. See you there!
London folks, I will be at the incomparable Auld Hag in Islington on 11 July at 5pm to chat to Stephen Khan about The Good Father. And, yes, okay, also to scoff well-fired filled rolls, mutton pies and empire biscuits. Grab a ticket and I’ll see you there…!💙📚
Join our editor Stephen Khan at this free Q&A event with award-winning crime writer Liam McIlvanney.
