Increasingly thinking how useful it is to have people you trust around you who can say "stop it, you're acting like a dumbass" (I have a few of those, and plenty of others on social media willing to add to the chorus). And how few of the folks in power today seem to have those people around them.

Just rewatched #Gremlins and realized: only ONE human dies (the evil lady trying to kill the dog). Meanwhile, HUNDREDS of gremlins are slaughtered—for what? Being ugly? Having fun?
