Yup, it's time to go. Even through the sorry state of affairs, the Game Camp has been a real joy for me. I'm glad I met so many interesting and helpful people.

Repo Man is a weird one. A "debt-collecting RPG" (immersive-sim ?) in a Art-Nouveau city plagued by fae. Very strong visual identity, interesting pitch, apparently vaporware. Played the demo, it was promising - though very rough and buggy.

AI Image generator are but high-tech mix 'n match books. "I made this concept with the power of prompts." Yeah, no. Don't expect me to show grown-ups the same kindness I reserve for 3-years old when they present me with the characters they found by randomly fumbling some pages drawn by someone else.

A few years ago, I got hooked on Doom wads. With them I experienced gameplay I never encountered before (on Doom or else.) There is a considerable quality in taking the same set of gameplay tools and turning them into something completely new.

It's still doom, and at the same time, isn't.

I say LETS GO

It's got :
- Different endings
- A good cast of different characters with their own agenda
- Different playthroughs
- Concise yet evocative writing conveying the right information for the reader to make informed choices
- Cool worldbuilding
- No RNG
- Rad Russ Nicholson illustrations

Speaking of which, I think this book is one of the few quintessential example of (almost) all the good qualities needed for a good gamebook.
