From our own collections: Ceramic tile by Thomas Bott

The tile is made from a soft-paste porcelain. Signed T Bott and dated 1863. Thomas Bott was a painter and enameller who worked for the Worcester factory in the middle of the nineteenth century.

Ledger’s work invites you to think about self-worth, the impact of mental health, and the value of embracing failure. Please note the exhibition deals with themes of mental health and eating disorders.

This immersive exhibition brings together 25 years of his work, featuring large-scale ink drawings alongside new collaborative 3D and audio-visual installations created with fellow Barnsley artists.

Part of the propeller was saved from the crash site by local residents. Cared for until Experience Barnsley Museum was being created, they donated it so the story of the crash could be shared with future generations.
