Today is a US economic boycott. I'm not buying anything today. Not sure it makes a difference, but I'm participating. I typically don't spend a lot anyway. Do companies even look at daily sales?

I've said it before. In my mind, Trump and his administration (Rubio, Hegseth, Vance) will be war criminals with respect to Ukraine if something bad happens as a result of these unilateral negotiations. When our president is talking about annexing countries and the Panama Canal, it's not surprising.

Even worse incompetence: they accidentally fired, then apparently today un-fired, hundreds of the people who manage America's nuclear weapons.

I find it really disturbing that I keep seeing advertisements on YouTube that I believe are using AI to impersonate celebrities. It's video that is AI-manipulated. The video is choppy mid-sentence. Many of these celebrities / influencers wouldn't be caught dead advertising. They have no need.

Trump just suspended enforcement of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, a key anti-bribery law signed by Carter in 1977. For 50 years, it stopped corporations from bribing foreign officials. Now, Trump is letting corruption run wild.

I'm not some diehard Lady Gaga fan, but this is a good one.

The billionaires are going to short sell this stock market and then buy it low. Then the tariffs will be lifted and it will recover. Make a killing on the drop, and then make a killing on the recovery. I think it's why we're not hearing much from them on this.

I think aid to Ukraine and Taiwan is more important, unless the plan is to become part of the axis of evil in a global conflict. Asian front -> China invades Taiwan; North American front -> U.S. annexes Canada, seizes Panama Canal and annexes Greenland; European front -> Russian invasions.

I am not sure how much I will post here, but I'm hoping Bluesky gets some traction given the knee-bending to disinformation that is taking place on other social media platforms. I really don't want to reward platforms that are doing that.
