Authoritarianism is very solid and it is difficult to break it down on the other hand democracy is fragile...

I believe competing with the US and China in technology and trade is far more vital. This requires investments amounting to 5% of the EU’s GDP. If EU member states fulfill their obligations to NATO, I believe it provides sufficient security so duplicating NATO is unnecessary.

I think acting as if NATO is over is an exaggeration. The EU shouldn’t duplicate it, but align with it. The EU should invest 5% of its GDP, as Draghi suggests, to stay competitive with the US and China.

The EU is more valuable as a power that prioritises universal values. It uses the power of persuasion instead of the power of arms, and transforms its environment through integration. Otherwise, it is no different from any other force that uses armed force. If it is required, NATO is already there.

Unfortunately, they are unaware of the potential cost of common defence and security. The EU already has NATO and the EU is more valuable as a soft power!

A meaningless and hostile endeavor, while Russia is waiting for a war, Greece's attitude towards a NATO country, which is an EU candidate, will serve no purpose other than weakening EU security.

So whether you take a humanitarian or a realist point of view, this kind of aid is in Europe's interest.

Populist policies are misleading people. What needs to be done is to convince the neutrals in favour of peaceful policies. I'm sure the swing voters who voted for Trump regret it.

I hope we will begin to see years of democracy and friendship in the world. The future with dictators and threats is bleak.
