I haven't finished any writing projects & have hardly written at all this year, but, through hard work, I'm nearly at a B2 in learning French, forged many new friendships, & learned a lot about how to take care of my disabled body, so that's all a win for me !

but most of the time the most effective promos will be through word of mouth by fans rather than anything you say/do with the intention to promote yourself / your work

the most effective way to grow a community is through a combination of things - namely posting your stuff, interacting with other creators, and patience

(interacting with fans of your work can also be effective, but can also be a double edged sword imo so be careful if you do that)
