I see this all the time and think my 13 year old self would be so mad at me for so many reasons, the least of which being my job and where I live. She would not think I was cool at all.

But honestly, she was pretty broken and maybe I shouldn't think about what my 13 yr old self would think of me.

🧵 (1/ 3)Today is the last day of Autism Awareness and Acceptance month.

I started the month out strong posting autistic people every day. I got off track for a few days due to our current administration's attack on autistic people. I have also shared links and stories and websites.

Juliani Kusmanto was brought up in Indonesia before emigrating to Canada, where she was diagnosed with autism. She has thought about the challenges of explaining her diagnosis to her Indonesian family and the disbelief she has met when communicating her diagnosis both in Indonesia and in Canada.

Thomas Jefferson's mannerisms were awkward and odd, and he was described as having an unusual sitting position. He struggled with eye contact, which his rivals attacked him for. If you have ever been to Monticello you would understand.
