also, of course there is a lot of valid criticism out there, but most i've seen to the expansions were always super shallow and oversimplified a lot of the characteristics of the story just to get a point across, i understand this happens everywhere but i noticed happening a lot more with FFXIV fans

i feel you, i absolutely love talking and thinking about Endwalker even if there's no one to talk about it, and i tried to engage in some conversations but it was always super annoying, that made realize how bitter FFXIV fans are and how ShB overshadows everything for them which is sad

I totally see your point, but i also think its fair to say that Garlemald is more of an amalgamation of the recent fascist regimes ideologies and old empires, purely on what it strives and how it works

thats fair, but as you said, even if the "perfect race" was in fact real in the game it does not change the fact that Garlemald was built and planned around restoring the ancients, in which would eventually bring down a massive genocide for that exact purpose.

all of that accounting for the nazi esotericism, the aryan race, the search for Atlantis and all of that bullshit, this game is pretty in your face about all of this
