It's kinda interesting how it's kinda hard for me to engage with FFXIV discourse much anymore, it's mostly just because of how much that game affected me back in the day.
When Endwalker came out, that shit saved my life, and the sense of community in the fanbase was the best its ever been back then-

yeah the localization really ruined this character. you see in the original Japanese text, the character doesn't say "I hate you", they instead say "I feel hatred towards you" which, you'll find, is drastically different on all fronts

its funny how the artstyle still kinda different from Marathon, it looked so similar with all that sci-fi high saturation colors and some japanese text over stuff, legit thought it was Marathon but something was so strange about it lmao
