The commander of the 82nd Airborne Division is Major General Brandon Tegtmeier, who assumed command on August 28, 2025 (2-Star general). Based in Ft. Bragg.
I hope he has the spine to refuse an illegal order.

Absolutely. Plus, The Blackhawk helicopter used by ICE during a raid in Southside Chicago would have been owned by the U.S. Army or National Guard, the primary government entities operating Blackhawk helicopters. Means Army pilots. Engaging in law enforcement. Violating the Law.

I was glad to see this has happened. It has been pretty apparent to this ordinary citizen that the continued pursuit of Garcia by DOJ and DHS "smelled" like a vendetta. Plus, Trump put in his 2 cents when he displayed a photoshopped photo of Garcia's knuckles with type-written "MS-13 across them.
