Toledo has some decent New York style pizza right next to the university, Stubborn Brothers. Beirut is fantastic Lebanese food.

Columbus has a lot of different stuff. The north market (the one downtown is better one IMO) is pretty cute and has a bunch of different food vendors.

Everything else aside, the book is not particularly good.
