Currently 30 states have rarely enforced filial responsibility laws. They are rarely enforced because Social Security and Medicare take precedence. I expect enforcement might see a sharp increase as the 47 led GOP slash these programs. #savesocialsecurity

It was observed several times to study a type Ic supernova, SN 2013ge. A binary companion star has even been found as well!
