I spent my Labour Day writing this piece reflecting years of Union activism on climate change and you should read it :') shrecsyonmain.substack.com/p/the-same-b...

Then Green Party co-leader James Shaw was attacked while walking to work. He suffered a fractured eye ball and black eye, but said he still felt safe.

That's what de-escalation and kindness looks like #nzpol
Shaw back with black eye

Brave admission: Not only do I love The Life of a Showgirl but I think the interpolations and references are so clearly intentional that it's wild to see the internet go hard with the copying call outs

As with every other speech they've made in Parliament, @benjamin-doyle.greens.org.nz leaves us all the gift of their wisdom with a call to revolutionary love and action for our tamariki. Aotearoa history will look back with esteem on their mana and leadership 💚👑

Huge loss for Parliament with Benjamin Doyle chased out of the house. Every time I allow myself to feel hope about an MP they're slammed down by the power structures that be. Gotta stop believing in Parliament as a key site of transformative power tbh

Act wants us to leave the Paris Agreement after they were part of the Govt that signed on to the agreement in 2016. How can anyone trust their policy direction when they themselves can't even trust their policy direction for a full decade?
