I love the pictures. And Congratulations on *your* house. My grandpa’s house where my dad grew up in Weed, California at the foot of Mt Shasta feels like your photos. Attached is my grandpa and my uncle, my grandma and my sister. If you zoom in you can see she is holding a picture of the mountain.

We are just getting started in Napa. The pro-immigrants march has just joined the No Kings event. Check out the marchers coming down the hill and little Uncle Sam behind the lady on the trike.

Bob, is the most loyal stray cat I feed, and here’s why: I gave him some wet and dry food for breakfast. He ate all the wet, part of the dry and then made a super loud meow. I, of course hopped to it and added a treat, because he is my boss. 😂

Not everybody got it, but those who did LOL’d. 😊

I happened to have my iPad in my hand when the Bobcat was heading out to get into trouble. 😜 😸

…mellow. He was about 18, had some issues but this morning things took a turn. We took him to the doctor, made a tough decision and he peacefully left us.
He was a GREAT cat. Friendly, but with some swagger, tall and long, a good meow and cuddled with me a lot this last year. I will miss him so. ❤️

Two red tail hawks were flying together above my neighbors houses this morning. I couldn’t get my phone out fast enough plus lots of glare, but they were swooping low and showing their full wings. They left before I could get the 2 of them in one shot. Very beautiful. 🧡

Me too! I used mostly bird ornaments on my Christmas tree this year and I hag one Toucan. I didn’t know there were so many different ones until I started following you. 😊

Even though we have a break in the rain today and I should be out pulling weeds, I’m inside baking and cooking. Smells good, a pot of soup with so many different root vegetables. 😊

John Oliver making me laugh constantly and then getting mad about it, which sounds like my kind of therapy. Hahaha

My sister and I went to SF MOMA today to celebrate her birthday. 🎉
We saw Amy Sherald’s exhibit: American Sublime.
It was phenomenal. I only took a couple of pics because I just wanted to look at the art. It was beautiful and a necessary reminder (again) of my privilege and what I owe.

Happy Thanksgiving!
This masterpiece is one of those ubiquitous 1960’s jello extravaganzas that people of a certain age remember. It’s a family tradition for us. We call it “the red jello” because there was also an orange one and green one LOL. This is the one that lives on.

-1963 The Presidio is dedicated as a National Historic Landmark.
The buildings are beautiful and I remember our family diving around in the 60s, before there were things to do. Just the history was amazing. And lots of open space, then and now.

The Presidio is a National Park in San Francisco, and is part of the 82,000 acre Golden Gate National Recreation Area.
We visited last week to see the SF Christmas Panto in the revived theater. There was so much to see, we almost missed the show and need to go back.

I have a bright green door so I tried to make a cute Frankenstein like I did about 10 years ago.
