At Bansa Community Library, learning often begins in the simplest of ways, three friends sitting close, eyes bright with curiosity, exploring the world of science on a shared screen. In moments like these, library becomes more than just a space filled with books, it becomes a window to new worlds.

As winter begins to set in, stories bring their own warmth. A young reader leads a read-aloud session at our library courtyard, her voice carrying tales that spark curiosity and comfort alike. Not long ago, books like these were out of reach for most children here in Bansa.

ever too damaged to be saved, no page too worn to be read again. Each act of repair is a small lesson in care, patience, and shared responsibility. When the same hands that read the stories also learn to mend them, those stories become a shared treasure, one that belongs to everyone.

This is more than just an activity; it’s a tender, joyful ritual, a space where learning and love meet. Every time a child helps repair a book, they are not just fixing paper and thread; they are stitching together the very fabric of our community. We call it 'The Book Hospital'.

September was a special month, full of energy, new readers, and exciting growth! We welcomed 470 visitors, issued 346 books, added 22 new members, and enriched our shelves with 230 new books.

At Bansa Library, books brought us together, but it’s the small joys that keep us close. Our Amul protein lassi party was full of chatter, laughter, and togetherness. For us, the library isn’t just a place to read, it’s a place where everyone belongs.

Today, one of our youngest members picked up a book and read aloud to everyone, simply because she had seen the older members do it before. This is what makes community libraries magical: they are living spaces where children observe, absorb, and pass on inspiration to each other.

We’re back with our July Monthly Report! July in Bansa arrived with warm rain, fresh beginnings, and countless stories shared. Over the month, we issued 250 books, welcomed more than 400 visitors, added 23 new members (11 young readers and 12 adults), and grew our collection with 10 new books.
