Agreed, but in Ottawa, the business community always fights for on-street parking. It would be hard to convince them. Bronson, bc of CarletonU would make a good option 4 dedicated bus lanes. Bank st, bc it’s the longest street, would benefit more from some form of rail, IMO. —@jogrady66.bsky.social

The Bank Street Subway is a no brainer. Trying to get a bus on any game day at Lansdowne is a disaster. The subway would clear everyone out without crowding out those already passing through on the bus. 6 and 7 are almost always crowded to the max almost every trip on any given day/time.

I had an idea about an O-Train line running on or under Bank Street a decade or so ago. Others, independent of my writings, had bigger, further-reaching takes on the idea such as you describe. It's worth doing.
