This is an incredible claim that should be met with a large dose of skepticism, until we see some evidence.

If an officer told me as much, you can be sure I'd get a recording of it.
We have had a report saying two women walking up to a protest today at BAe Samlesbury were stopped by Lancashire Police and advised to remove their t-shirts that say 'Free Palestine', as it may "breach the proscription order".

And so it begins.

I've had a terrible experience with the new GP appointment system. I was physically unable to book an appointment last week until this morning, and now I'm given an appointment on Friday for a prescription review when my medication will have already run out.

Very annoying.

The British public overestimates the proportion of asylum migration in the UK by a factor of 5 times.

Quite stark. How can we meaningfully challenge people's false perceptions?
If we ask people to think about balance of categories [allocate 100% across them] we get these estimates

Asylum: estimate 37% (actual: 7%)
Family: est 17% (actual 6%)
Work: est 26% (actual 40%)
Study: est 19% (actual 38%)

Occasionally opening up #Shitter and seeing how toxic and awful the feed has become makes me enjoy using @bsky.app more and more every day.

I just want to see funny memes, exciting tech news, normal people discussing issues, and discover interesting people. Bluesky is delivering on this front.
