I recently moved from a red state to a blue state — but birth areas are rural and conservative. Today I went to a little town to eat brunch and felt more inclusion in 2 hours than I ever did in the 33 years of living in my home state. Gave me the hope I really needed this week 💛

Moving to the country, to crawl through the woods and pet all the animals, has been the best decision I’ve ever made. This morning I made friends with a lil bird and saw a coyote playing on the frozen lake.
