Prof. Holm trained generations of scientists, in academia and elsewhere and wherever his soul is, he must be tremendously happy at this accomplishment of his trainee.

Prof. Holm was not my advisor but nevertheless, a close mentor and a role model scientist. Imho, he deserved the Nobel Prize in his own right for his truly pioneering work on Fe-S clusters and broadly, in bioinorganic chemistry. Sadly, he passed away before that ever materialized.
