I think this is the closest many of us have ever got to seeing the real Trump. The only consistent thread in his entire unhinged rant was the love & praise for Vladimir Putin. Zelensky has more courage & dignity in his little finger than every member of Trump's regime & fan club combined.

I complained. The BBC’s response is perplexing.
Screenshot of the first half of my complaint to the BBC: Comments re: Elon Musk's claims (not coverage) I am writing to complain about comments made by Chris Mason during his discussion with Nick Robinson on the Today Programme on 07 January 2025. I have read the BBC's response to similar complaints, but it misses the key issue: the way Mr Mason treated Elon Musk's false claims as though they were reasonable political opinions. Musk's statements, such as saying Keir Starmer blocked inquiries into grooming gangs or Gordon Brown "sold those little girls for votes," are not political views. They are lies. These false claims are part of harmful conspiracy theories meant to spread hate and divide people. Mr Mason did not make this clear to the audience. Instead, he treated these statements as if they were part of a fair debate. Screenshot of the second half of my complaint to the BBC: The BBC says its coverage includes context and fact-checking. However, during this discussion, Mr Mason failed to clarify that Musk's claims were false and dangerous. He also ignored the hateful ideas behind Musk's words, like far-right conspiracies and the "great replacement" theory. By not challenging these lies, the BBC gave them a platform they do not deserve. The problem is not how much coverage Musk's comments get, but how the BBC is choosing to present them. When the BBC treats lies and hateful ideas as valid views, it normalises them. The public relies on the BBC for fair and accurate reporting, but this kind of coverage fails that standard. Regardless of the volume of coverage you deem appropriate, please explain what steps the BBC will take to make sure future coverage of similar remarks will clearly challenge false and harmful claims. Our Political Editor Chris Mason accurately reflected the impact Elon Musk's interventions regarding the child grooming scandal had on reigniting the debate around this issue and the political row that followed. Chris explained that Mr Musk's critics would describe his comments as '..slurry, hyperbole, falsehood devoid of subtlety and nuance in some instances." Chris looked at the backdrop of this story and the impact at a practical policy level. We gave extensive coverage to the wider implications of this story throughout the programme, making clear that abused and exploited children are at the heart of this. This included hearing from Professor Alexis Jay, who led a seven-year national inquiry into child grooming gangs, who shared her view that the measures the government are now implementing would not have been put into place at this speed if it wasn't for this row. We believe Chris Mason gave fair analysis of the story, accurately reflecting the context involved. However, we are sorry if you continue to be unhappy and have shared your feedback with the senior editorial team at the programme.
