I'm at that point of the game where I've ranked high enough that I feel like a gangly teenager - nothing seems to work as reliably as it once did; the bad guys are bullying me (I seem to be dying a LOT) and I just haven't found my rhythm again yet.

Cut scenes can hold IMPORTANT INFORMATION. Just because you're on a farming tear and have seen it ten times, it's not necessarily true that everyone else on the team has too.
Don't decide for the entire team that we don't need it!

I heard part of an interview on NPR about Ghost of Yotei. I came in just as they were talking about Akira Kurosawa and how the game has a Kurosawa Mode. I fell in love with Seven Samurai and how he composed many of the scenes as if they were paintings.
I must play it! Alas, it's only on PS5.

I've failed the timed challenge to get the unearth shard three times. I've gotten my butt kicked by a shell breaker more than a few times while trying to close a corruption breach.
I guess I should go to bed, considering it's 3:30 in the morning. But damn, I love this game.

Tonight's game was Syberia - The World Before.
It's a good game, but good *god,* is there a lot of exposition in it! This is not a sit-down-and-casually-play-thirty-minutes game. This is a Be Prepared to Put At Least a Couple of Hours In Once You Hit Start game.
