Synopsis: If you voted for Trump, we are not friends. We are not family. You cannot justify to me why he was worth the erasure of my existence and removal of my rights. Starting January, my existence will be put on the chopping block. Project 2025, which Trump and Vance support, seeks to erase queer rights and queer existence. The removal of our stories, our rights and most certainly our lives. I have no choice but to resist. My life and existence is resistance. And frankly, if you put your vote to him, YOU are the cause. I don't care if you didn't mean for it to happen or if you wanted his benefits more than his negatives. The negative is the erasure of life. So I hope it's worth it. I hope when you reap whatever reward you think you'll get, you remember the people you threw to the wolves to get it. I hope you think about how you chose selfishness, racism, misogyny, homophobia and hatred. I hope you think about the hundreds of thousands of people you stripped the rights away from for your own gain. If you can still sleep at night, good for you. I hope you dream of the blood we'll shed for your comfort. The queer community rarely live over the age of 35. Congratulations, you're keeping us on track to continue that trend. If I reach 35 at this rate, it will be through spite, rage, and the powerful love and support from the communities you seek to destroy. You do nothing for us. We will persevere, with or without you. And when he inevitably comes for you, I hope you remember those you crushed while they warned you. And remember, if you think "the government wouldn't do that," yes they have. Yes they do. Yes they will.
