i mean i opened twitter and was bombarded by bluechecks baiting for engagement, gambling ads, people fighting over the ‘correct way’ to portray trans people, and transphobia in general (not that bluesky is doing anything about transphobia) so. social media just sucks right now.

also ive seen some of the wildest, more puritanical takes here, like “we shouldn’t portray smoking in media because it’s bad to smoke”. millennials need to be more self-aware (signed, a zillennial)
