You can only breathe the oxygen in the bottle, and the oxygen will gradually decrease, achieving a slight suffocation effect.☺️” me: “i'm still confused. bubbler bottles like the ones in these pictures allow air in, not out. if the hood is sealed off from airflow except through the tubes, this setup would allow you to breathe in, but not out. where does exhaled air go? the bottles wouldn't expand to hold it like a rebreather bag” a picture of the bubbler bottles that fetura replied to the previous post with. they’re bog standard bubbler bottles, meant to be used with a gas mask that has an exhalation port the last screenshots of the thread fetura: “You can notice that there is a straw in the bottle, and the gas can flow out of the straw partially due to pressure.☺️” me: “sorry for being blunt but that's an unsafe way to use a bubbler bottle bubbler bottles should only be used with a mask that has an exhalation port. any suffocating feeling from this setup is because it's not made to be used like this plus it's gonna shoot out high pressure water through the straw” fetura didn’t reply to any further comments in the thread, even when it overwhelmingly flooded with people taking similar issue with the post. the post is deleted now

it’s increasingly obvious that furrjoi/feturax/smitizen are not staffed by people from the community they’re marketing to, which used to just result in stolen designs and ugly originals, but a line has to be drawn when they’re encouraging customers to put their lives at risk with their products
