This does mean there's a fairly handy and simple solution if you're like me and mainline acidic drinks all day: take antacids before your meds, give it ~10min to settle in, then take your meds. Just make sure the antacids you take work for you first.

It's helped me in the past, I know that much.

Having brought it to and had it confirmed by my psychiatrist a couple yrs ago, it's not specifically caffeine or citric acid (tho CA is worst for it), it's having an overly acidic stomach; converts amphetamines into water-soluble cationic (salt) form, decreasing absorption from ~75% down to 15-40%.

Aah boo, that sucks. I think I just ended up using a save editor to change what I didn't like - when it comes to singleplayer games, I'm not above mods and tweaks to fix what makes me unhappy. :3

I never did decide on a class, and I got late into Act 2 before I decided to just stop and wait for all the big story DLCs. I think I went Operative for most of it.
