I've noticed that centrist liberals have started using the term "purity test" the same way the right has been using "woke"
They both just slap that loaded language label on any critique from the left that they dont like and act like it's valid rebuttal instead of actually arguing against the point.

According to the right, the Republican Party doesn't own all the wars, torture, NSA spying and recessions caused by the Neocons just 1 Republican president ago, but the Democratic Party does own slavery because of how the party was 200 years ago. Got it.

I always liked Man of Steel, it was a neat take on how earth would realistically react to Krypyonians with phenomenal action scenes. But Superman 2025 was so fantastic and faithful that it makes Man of Steel look like a joke tbh

Reminiscing on how in the 2016/20 primary debates they'd constantly ask Bernie "how are you gonna pay for universal healthcare?" and "what if people like their insurance?" but never ask the private healthcare supporters "what about all the people who will still be uninsured and die under your plan?"

Genuinely shocked at how much blanant racism has been hurled at Zohran because of his muslim background. I see a lot of bigotry online but it's usually way more coded than just "this guy is muslim so he must support 9/11 and oppressing women". And a lot of it is coming from liberal Cuomo fans too.
