Well folks, some news. Ownership is folding @pghcitypaper.com. I wish I could say this was more surprising. I'll be on the lookout for new roles while I continue to teach and hopefully find places to publish some stories I haven't finished. In the meantime, I'm all ears for opportunities.

Today the 3rd Circuit Court ordered the @post-gazette.com to restore our contract it illegally tore up 5 years ago. That’s our health care, PTO, right to a 40-hr. work week, short-term disability and so much more we’ve struck for 3+ years.

what you need to do is save your veggie scraps and chicken bones in bags in the freezer, make some chicken stock, and put it in little single-serving deli containers in the freezer. and then you must make your favorite instant noodle with chicken stock instead of water (I use shin ramen). trust me
