I got a new vacuum cleaner today, and reached the stage of adulting where I am giddy at the amount of crap that came out of my carpet.

It took seeing adult bullies to understand that my childhood bullies didn’t even really want to hurt me, they just wanted to feel powerful and how I felt about it wasn’t even in the equation.

I can’t imagine someone not outgrowing that, but apparently it happens quite a lot!

Ah, public service during norovirus season. A toddler suddenly emptied both ends very publicly and that poor parent had to wrangle their oozing baby outside while trying to gather their other kids from various areas of the building. Hope everyone feels better soon.
