I'm a buddhist, photographer, writer, fibromyalgia-researcher due to suffering from the cursed thing since the year 2000, lover of cold winters, and snappy dresser. フィンランドの血、スウェーデン国籍。線維筋痛症。ドグ生。co1680766
It's a Chrome/Chromium browser running a bunch of chat instances. Browser updates and gets chonky bloaty memory-hungry++, Discord updates gets gets chonky bloaty memory-hungry++.

They are also drinking the "we're now making it big" juice, with the typical results to the end product.

I've found nothing but scary boutique prices of what exists.
My dream would be a full-size keyboard (for typing) Sony Vaio P kinda thing, so you just fold it open and start writing. I'd easily live a terminal only life with one of those.

It says in the screenshot, they tried to use an exploit and doing that gets you shut off. It's as simple as that, and why would they buy ads anyway after placing the fine?

Brave's been screwy af with youtube for me, including letting ads sneak through.

Recently lost a 2018 phone only because its battery became a spicy pillow, too risky to even have indoors. No repair-shops nearby.

Picked up a 2012 ThinkPad X230, found I could switch to it for 90% of what my $500 monitor-mounted PC from last year is used for.

It boggles the mind.

Can confirm it's install&go af! Tested it for a few months on a Minusforum box, it's very packaged and prepared. even for Nvidia users.

Sheesh, I'm so simple, I see a Thinkpad and crack a smile.

That's the thing people never talk about; games panic and cry for help and Windows listens, while Linux knows they're just making it up and ignores them.
(Windows: Play like a Bethesda game and pray before entering any door, Linux: Play until the servers go down. That's my PoE2 experience.)

Thus, in the universe I'm crafting, a starving wild dragon would only focus on eating, and most likely get done in by stronger dragons who know that one rogue element can put the rest of them in danger. A healthy specimen instead protects itself and its family, is aware of dangers and risks.

Studied footage of animal attacks on humans and came to figure out the way the dragon should act: It's a wild intelligent beast of unfathomable power, it delivers a the message of HELLO I AM BIG AND DANGEROUS, trying to scare the intruder away while also curious about it, focusing on its own safety.

A soundcard is basically guaranteed to be plug & play compared to Windows, where I have experience of having to hunt down rare drivers on sketchy underground websites.

A dedicated sound card makes sense if you're doing music or streaming, gives multiple inputs and outputs. It's fine with a USB one.

Mm. We need less "STICK TO WINDOWS, YOU ARE CLEARLY NOT MADE FOR IT", and more "don't worry, we'll get your issues figured out, we're all in this together for the greater good, now let's see here".

/one with experience of several unsolved unique linux issues not found on any forum or search engine.

Hell to the yes, sub10 laptops.

Neato, looks ten time cozier than when I try getting something Poser (the ancient software)-like out of Blender.
