If President Trump is serious about lowering costs and capping credit card interest rates, he needs a strong CFPB and a strong CFPB Director.

If he and Republicans decide to cower to Wall Street billionaires and try to destroy the agency, they will have a fight on their hands.

This: "An analysis by the Institute on Taxation and Economic Policy found that undocumented residents paid $25.7 billion into Social Security & $6 billion into Medicare in 2022 and are entitled to use neither. Undocumented immigrants paid $96.7 billion, or roughly $9,000 per person in taxes in 2022.
