I kept mostly out of the pit at the Haywire show after a light tap on the side of the head during Last Wishes (who were genuinely scary!). Happily, I was in the paint long enough to receive a black metal spike bracelet double puncture which looks like I've been bitten by a meek Dracula.

Friday at Le Guess Who ripped. Sawt El Domouh was an early highlight, and recognizing the lads from Gilla Band soundchecking when we came in early for the surprise set also rocked. YHWH Nailgun were as good as everyone says though, and hand on heart I was looking at the rototoms

3 young lads on the 10am flight to Schipol each ordered a double vodka and sprite, a Moretti and a chocolate bar.

Some of the hardest moshing I've seen, all seemingly spontaneous. The single guitar sounded like 100 and a train. Top 5 drummer, insane vocals. There was even a euro grind fan who ate shit after trying in vain to crowdsurf for the entire show. The greats.
