This morning I was served an Amazon ad for a voodoo doll with the tagline, “Simplify your everyday life.” If that’s the road we’re going down, it’s gonna take more than one doll.

Love how they chose to lead off with one of the most dystopian visions of re-shoring manufacturing jobs possible.

Looking forward to a bright future when this monstrosity will do breakdance moves after it pummels me into an unrecognizable slurry of meat and bone for jaywalking.

I’m like 99% sure that all negative stereotypes about public employees descend from people having one annoying visit at the DMV.

Buffalo's done a great job of erasing all physical markers of my younger days as I prepare to turn 40: The Pink, Mohawk Place, Amy's Place- all gone. Staples and Hemingway's? Loooong gone. I didn't even have that much of a connection to Brick and this one still sucks.

Trans people are people who deserve to live their lives with full dignity and purpose, and a society that doesn’t uphold this is a broken one.
My guess is that a lot of trans people will be feeling a ton of stress and worry over SCOTUS today.

If you are a cis person, quote this and say why you support trans people and what you are willing to do to support us if the government comes for us.

Openly liking crappy things is extremely liberating. I love being totally unburdened by even the appearance of claiming to have good taste. It's a ramshackle paradise of my own making, full of Taco Bell, derivative punk rock, and Buffalo Sabres hockey.

A number of horrible books and movies have taught us that vampires and werewolves are mortal enemies. I don't know what monster is the mortal enemy of frankensteins, but I do know that frankensteins and lagoon monsters are the best of friends. I will not be developing this further.

A memory that's forever burned into my brain was a time in second grade when, ahead of a consequential football game between the Bills and Dolphins, our Canadian student teacher ranted about how stupid the local slogan "Squish the Fish" was, and how it should be "Trammel the Mammal."

I'm gonna try selling some handmade ceramics at a holiday fair tonight- looking forward to polluting the archeological record for centuries to come with a bunch of coffee mugs with vampire fangs sculpted onto them!

We need to take a break from sexy Byronic vampires and return, if briefly, to the dirty, bloated vampires of folklore. They can still do sexy things, but the author must be very clear that putrefaction has caused their body to double in size and that they smell awful.
