That's so sweet and amazing and no way could a white pinafore survive generations in my family.

This is my life. Thank you for describing the madness and sorry she cannot see reason. This might be my new explanation when my mom asks me when I'm getting married.

GOOD JOB YOU!

Hahaha, 3 pound cujo. May I also suggest not playing peek-a-boo with a puppy? Learn from me. (Sure it was hysterical as a reply when people gasped "what happened to your face?" but also ouch.)

Salons are WILD during this season. My mom sat on a gift card from LAST Christmas and then tried to call this week to make an appointment. No dice. They are booked solid through the new year.

Saga update: good Rx coupons are not valid for pet meds. Prescription is coded so you can't try to use your insurance or HSA. antibiotics are in hand for $375 after spending better part of my day on this and I feel victorious.
(Now I just need this to not utterly destroy what's left of her liver)

At this point I will say it is an anomaly as it is a difficult/special order thing. (I have NEVER had costco be the most expensive)

I am so ready to go PC Load Letter on pharmacy automated systems. I do not want a call back within 3 business hours. I want to SPEAK TO SOMEONE to verify whether this is in stock/available so that I can move on to the next pharmacy if needed to GET THE MEDICINE. I am beyond aggravated.

Sorry it was not that misleading. It was box to keep same elections (High deductible/Silver Plan/Gold Plan), participating in dental, vision, etc. Haha, yeah no checkbox to keep exact same plan at same rate. (We historically needed to go into each option to enable coverage and select)

The only time my parents ever set foot on campus in 1998 was to give me a ride to the bookstore before I started. They did not attend any sort of parent meeting or ask any questions.

Everyone pays the same. My premiums went up about $10 paycheck, but deductibles and max out of pocket doubled. Not disclosed in any pre-information and many don't even know unless they read the whole packet. (This was the first year you could check a box to keep all benefit choices same as current)

Fair. Neither of my parents wander when brushing teeth so I think they have that going for them. (It drove them crazy that we did, but as we always returned to the bathroom to spit/rinse, we never once misplaced our toothbrushes. I should remind them to be grateful).

What in the world?! Yikes that would have me quite unsettled.

It feels like an identity crisis to have no attention span for reading novels anymore. A big part of this is that I live with someone who has the TV on all of the time. I am hoping someday to have a space to read that is not in the living room or bedroom (if I am in bed I will fall asleep)

I feel like it should play continuously in a diner (ala John Mulaney prank with What's New Pussycat)
