Y'all, I've been waiting for this orchid to put out a spike, and I've been looking toward the bottom. But I just noticed today it was growing a spike up near the crown.

I just noticed this fishbone, or zigzag, cactus was starting to bloom this morning. By this evening it had fully opened up. Nice little surprise to come home to.
