“I was the work”, “I was the center” 😳😳Anyone whose scholarship is motivated by a community they claim to care so deeply about can’t make the work themselves, & then tell others to be quiet b/c “the work is too important……..”

The Merriam-Webster definition of “scarcity mindset” would include the quote, “I [was] the work.”
She also told a RWJF collaborator that there were “10-15 scholars max” doing antiracism work, when designing the Ignite the Spark program in 2023.
