Yes! So many businesses and restaurants only use Meta stuff for updates and it would be great to be able to check in on random days closed or (most importantly) daily food specials

That said, my approach going forward will be to find colors that work with both methods, which will still end up meeting compliance for WCAG. And as a reminder to anyone, just because something meets WCAG compliance doesn't make it accessible.

It was removed from the working draft awhile back and I don't think it is being pursued for WCAG3 anymore

APCA is no longer part of WCAG3. You can use it, but for conformance (legal, policy, etc.) reasons you will still need to follow WCAG2. It’s possible to satisfy both in most cases.
