Oligarchs buying elections with million dollar giveaways. Hopefully people in Wisconsin won’t allow the South African to purchase a seat on your Supreme Court just like he bought the US federal government.

Elon’s “Department of Government Efficiency” just walked into NOAA and Commerce like they owned the place. No legal authority, no transparency—just gutting climate data access while daring anyone to stop them. If you like accurate weather forecasts and ocean protections, buckle up.

I want to watch TV coverage of the live fall of the Syrian regime.

CNN is airing a Giuliani documentary, Fox News has a comedian joking about Canada, MSNBC a documentary about migrants

So I turned on BBC,which is breathlessly switching between Syria, South Korea demonstrations, and Ghana election

Folks, as a person who ventures into the right-wing swamp to debate, let me tell say there's no "reaching out" to Trump voters after 9 years. They live in a radicalized bubble. You don't owe them anything. Build & protect your own. They'll only learn through immense pain - & many still wont.

People are leaving Twitter because it’s not fun anymore and no one is obligated to be on a platform they don’t enjoy.

Time to give @bluesky props. As I write this, there are 560 quotes and replies to the post below.

Of those only 4 call me names and give me shit. About 15 do the same towards Trump.

The remaining 541 are on topic and add value.

It’s a battle of political leverage. Who can use tariffs, retaliatory tariffs or sanctions to create more political pain for the other leader. Forcing them to capitulate or face undesired consequences.

How crazy would it be if China, Mexico and/or Canada initiated tariffs before Trump took office
From your standpoint as a businessman and manufacturer, is there any sense behind this? Especially now that other countries are threatening tariffs of their own in retaliation. But that doesn't make sense cause it would mean raising their own taxes.
