And the Republican party has no qualms listing how bad empathy is for America. Gee I wonder why.
People are not seeing the writing on the wall. The military did this illegal thing for him. They all put this man before the constitution and should all be court marshaled. Fair elections are done, the military will do his bidding, and brown and black people will be in camps within 5 years.

Let's not forget, millions of Americans voted for Trump. They are our fellow citizens. So regardless of where we stand politically, it is imperative to reach out and tell each and every one of them that they are stupid fucking assholes.

Jimmy Carr's comedy relies on making the worst people in the room laugh. He purposely tries to appeal to bigots and villains. Even if he doesn't believe what he says or if people should 'lighten up'. The type of jester that would try to make the king laugh as he beheaded another peasant.

When I watched Casshern (2004), it had a big impact on me. It was one of my inspirations to go to film school. Well, I just rewatched it, and it hits even harder for different reasons. The parallels with this film and the current Palastine/Isreal atrocities definitely stood out.

Do you remember Betty Reid Soskin? She was the oldest serving National Park Ranger in the United States, we celebrated her retirement at the age of 100.

Betty Reid Soskin (1921–2025) passed away on Sunday, but she lived an extraordinary life.

I really hate the reaction to Chris Evans coming back. Makes me miss the 90s. People just need to shut the fuck up. If you don't like it, don't watch it. But you don't have to try and destroy people. There are people working tooth and nail, but your stupid opinions are apparently more important.

I'm just putting this in the eather, but you know what I think my save the sitcom genre? Making it live. Build a sense of community and theater around it.

There hasn’t been enough appreciation for how thoroughly BENNIE THOMPSON humiliated FBI official GLASHEEN after he tried to sell the lie that ANTIFA is the top domestic terror threat.

The claim collapsed because it’s a cover.

People are so pissed about Netflix buying WB but it was literally the best option out of a bunch of shitty options. You'd rather the fascists at Paramount or Amazon have it? I hope Netflix does well by the franchises they will own and learn the value of ending a narrative but I'm happy for them.

More Journalist slop about a literal pretador's comedy performance. Did you also do a peice on Ted Bundy's poetry? Might have missed out on some bloody dollars there too. This is why there are so many villains in pop culture. Cause the media doesn't care about human suffering if it means money.
When a cancelled performer reënters the culture, we expect them to offer us a great work, channelling their newfound clarity into the finest art they’ve ever made. With his new comedy show and début novel, has Louis C.K. met the bar?

Louis C.K.’s Next Chapter
In a new standup special, and a début novel, the comedian navigates murky, post-#MeToo terrain: not quite exiled, not quite welcomed back.

I have no sympathy for the National Guard troops who were shot. They were actively participating in fascist behavior, even after a judge ruled that it was illegal and now I'm supposed to feel bad for them? No thank you. All who are participating in this regime's fascism deserves what the Nazis got.

I've just started blocking anyone who is still using Amazon or Prime. They are part of the problem at this point and I don't want to see their Nazi promotion on BlueSky.

@letterboxd.social makes people feel like certified critics, and I’ve seen some truly awful film takes there.

1. Stop telling people something is factually bad. Films are art and art is subjective. Nothing can be factually bad or good. 1/2

AI is not a boogyman. It's just a tool that is currently being used by bad people to do bad things. Eliminate the bad people and regulate the tool.
