My teens have been all over the place and eaten food from everywhere, but they still get charmingly excited when I make them "butter rice".
It's just rice. But I add a little salt and butter.

I wanted to make Mohawk corn soup for New Year's, but I had to do a variation. I don't have access to lyed white corn and I needed to start with a vegetarian base (ham added later).
