Currently preparing for Cyclone Alfred here in Brisbane. We've done all we can but I'm still very nervous.

The news coming out of the US is so unbelievable that my fiance read a news article to me last night and I didn't believe it was real so I had to google them multiple times to confirm it was true

Primarily getting my US news from Bluesky now - it just gets worse and worse the more I see 😬

As an update from my previous post - always get a sample pot of the colour you want to paint your walls, because if you paint them and you hate the colour it will set you back two days and you will give up on doing the rest of the house over Christmas.

Painting the new house for Christmas is both therapeutic and less time consuming than I originally anticipated.

When measuring if your appliances will fit in your new house, don't just measure the space it will go. You must also make sure it can fit through all door ways to said space 🫠🫠🫠 don't ask me how I know this.

It's now December and I'll be honest... I'm not ready.

I have no idea who to follow on BlueSky, but I have been actually enjoying the Discover page which is somehow interesting, informative and humorous.
