Because I am always coming into knowing what is important

I fight not from scarcity but from abundance, trying my best to hold onto and nurture what I know to be life giving and affirming

Because no matter is done, or what happens, the world will still turn (until it doesn't)

But I can make my choices...

As was the nature of my environment - the internal and external creating a feedback loop where the only way to break out of it is by active choice and reflection

In that sense, I struggle and fight intensely and yet I have everything

Eventually I realised, trying to blame anyone and/or myself for whatever problems I've faced is also pointless

There is only the next step forward and the steps after that

There are many things in life that I did not choose, that led me down damaging, isolating paths...

moralism reductivism that created the conditions for our suffering and loneliness to begin with

Point a finger hard and long enough at any someone and something and you'll eventually find a plethora of sins, weaknesses, and problems

It's very easy to get into post colonialism, to find the fire of purpose in carving out our ideologies of justice and goodness on the face of the earth

One way or another, there's a give and take - some level of compromise

The idea that you can't have everything, but also that having everything isn't everything

Forgoing idealistic utopias and neo-nation states

We can run ourselves in circles, trying to reach a point where we can consistently do the right thing and make an impact - especially if we want to make the world a better place

I think things as they are are very very complex, and there's no way to do it perfectly

There's no ultimate point to pursuing grand schemes of fame, mastery, justice, and greatness if there's no grounding or critical conversation about why it matters to you in your state of being

They can be helpful, but they are not necessarily the end point

Elsewhere being where I go to now

A more matured, emotionally and mentally stable person, grounded in my process of experiencing, relationships, faith, and having open conversations with everyone and anything that makes up my current state of reality

But right now, I don't really see doing any of that full time as practical or necessarily helpful

I really appreciate just doing games and stuff on the side, working with them for what they are

Trying to think big picture now, take what I've learnt, and put it to use elsewhere
