I heard someone say once a very long time ago when there were all awful options in a local election, "Please pick someone for write ins you'd trust to do the job even if it's your Mechanic bc your vote matters and you should be heard." I've written in my kids' teachers a bunch. They know childish. 👀

I was more taken aback by the enormous number of US citizens who didn't have a problem with the sheer bigotry displaced from Moment 1 of the Trump Years.

People were cheering for that guy. It still leaves a disgusting taste in my mouth. I internally shudder every time I remember he's running now.

That makes me sad. Libraries are one of the few spaces left for EVERYONE. Your librarian never cared what you looked like or who you loved. They just loved that you loved books. They should be a protected species.

As a recent jobseeker, I read way too many articles that basically said, "Apply for jobs, even if you aren't totally qualified bc the hiring team will know you're serious and can teach you what you need to know." (Your applicants read ALL those articles. 🤣
