So many things wrong but one really big one is that they say most people stayed in the same group at the 6 month re-test but their graph shows that only a third of the "Compulsives" stayed "Compulsives"
Clustering of avoidance behavior at retest revealed the same Sensitive, Unaware, and Compulsive phenotypes as found in initial test (Fig. 4a). Additionally, the cognitive and motivational characteristics associated with each phenotype (e.g., poor Action-CS awareness, distinct cognitive-behavioral trajectories) were recapitulated at retest (Figs. S4, S7–S9). These findings show the robustness of these phenotypes. Crucially, each phenotype at retest predominantly consisted of participants who exhibited the same phenotype at the initial test (χ2(4) = 30.811, p < 0.001) (Fig. 4b, c), indicating that inter-individual differences are relatively stable over time. This suggests that variation in punishment learning and cognitive-behavioral integration reflect stable, trait-like characteristics. A figure from the paper in Nature Communications that shows what percent of each of the three groups remained in the same group or switched in the 6 month re-test. Notably, only 33% of the original Compulsives group stayed in that group. 42% of them switched to Unaware, and 25% of them switched to Sensitive.

My rough understanding is: p[doom] makes their products seem all-powerful and godlike; gets them more venture capital; makes the public acquiesce to these products being shoved into ill-fitting places.
