The path to breaking Twitter is not asking people to move elsewhere. It's getting Twitter/Fox News pilled folks the fuck out the paint in a way that turns Twitter into a pointless echo chamber for irrelevant losers.

Like it would be better if Twitter died and fewer people weren't perpetually exposed to misinformation and bigotry- but imo Twitter is more a reflection of Fox News/Facebook etc. Moreover the people being run from Bluesky aren't the rube-ish masses, it's the bad faith actors spreading the disinfo!

There's obviously a whole host of concerns about the ethics of gen AI and the wholescale theft that makes it work. I'm personally primarily opposed to it's usage- but I think it's important to acknowledge as part of the conversation that ESPECIALLY wrt disability, there are positives.

4- The biggest evangelists for AI tend to be the folks who need it the least and use it in the dumbest, most destructive and unethical ways. My partner could make a better argument for its practical application as a disability accommodation in about 30 minutes than Sam Altman has in his career.

2- There are optimal ways to use (a flawed product like) ChatGPT and a decent non-grifty version of a book like this would be a resource to those folks.

3- The environmental impact of AI probably makes its use a nonstarter, but would be lessened if it was reserved for people that really need it.
