Not on the level of applied studies due to exams and so on but I promised myself to take at least one hour a week siting in a cafe or another public space to observe more social life itself!

Yeah it's easy to drift away in theorys trying to fully comprehend them, a bit more empirical work is sometimes very valuable!

Absolutely agreeable in my opinion, in my eyes this also perfectly to observe in mass cultural phenomenons where participants celebrate their "individuality"

When choosing between the French poetic writing style of Foucault and the convoluted and unfocused jargon of Habermas, I definitely prefer the former... much more inspiring.

His 'shape-work' is fascinating. I think that the tension between the individual and society and the idea of centripetal or centrifugal forces of social circles go hand in hand. By working with the concepts of social circles, the conflicts could certainly be described more analytically.

What is 'same gender loving' meaning in difference to gay/lesbian? Maybe it's because of the language barrier or my lack of knowledge because I have not yet dealt with the subject so intensively.
