Georg Simmel explores the tension between individuals and society. The desire to preserve one’s individuality clashes with the overwhelming forces of culture and technology. However, individuality can only emerge because society provides a range of possibilities to draw from.

What is the political situation in the #USA teaching us about #constructivism? Isn't it interesting: since quite a few years now starting before #Trumps first election, during covid and now just shortly before Trumps second presidency the constructedness of knowledge is omnipresent?

I think that there is a robust culture of thinking in dualisms or binarities when it comes to social sciences.
