Here we go, varnished but I saw a couple cleanup spots, no probs. Fairly happy with the NMM attempt on axe head.
Went for "Unholy Death Knight" colors. Fairly happy with the first NMM attempt for the axe head. His people cape was fun to figure out(thanks Texas Chainsaw Massacre!) #minipainting

coming into the home stretch, done in the color-scheme of an Unholy death knight. Fairly satisfied with first real NMM attempt(just the axe head.)
Going to cleanup/tweak/probably base tomorrow!
Frost next, then Blood. (I think I might use pure metallics on those.) #minipainting

Got a slightly different angle here, I do love the Blanche paints(and it's great how they happened to line up with the album cover pretty well). Gotta touch stuff up still but I'll do it gradually

I was sticking to the color scheme from Rebel Extravaganza, which the Blanche colors fit well(the dark green, blue, red, ivory, ochre, etc). with the addition of the bronze/verdigris. I was using the dark green as a base shadow to help. I'm not unhappy with it, but I wish I got the 75mm over 38mm

The logo needs cleaning up(and the banner needs weathering/etc) but the fact I got the logo ON there in some fashion I will count as a win

Hope I am feeling less exhausted from gut plague recovery(Papa Nurgle decided to gift me with some pre thanksgiving spirit) to finish this guy, needs cleaning/ polishing up, a bit more detail and basing and I have been incapacitated for three days, today was my first almost a person again

Grabbed three of the v1 Blanche colors from Army Painter, tho I regret also not getting Grimdark Shadow wash, but Ill be buying all of v1 as well soon enough anyway.
Also gonna try their new synthetic brushes out, saw some nice feedback/reviews on them.
As soon as I am not too exhausted to paint.
